Creating an account is the exciting (and crucial!) start to your Sense journey. You can only use the Sense app with a Sense monitor, and vice versa.
If you are having issues creating an account:
- Check that you’re connected to your Wi-Fi network and that your monitor is receiving a strong signal. For more information on connecting to your Wi-Fi network, take a look at this article.
- In the United States WiFi channels 12 and 13 are reserved for official use, so Sense will not connect to networks using those channels. For best results, make sure the network you're connecting to is set to channel 6 or 11.
- If you are setting up a second Sense monitor, ensure that you are using a different email address than you used for your other monitor. We don’t allow multiple monitors on the same account, but will accept sub-addressed versions of the same email, e.g. email@example.com.
Note: You can only create a Sense account from the mobile app.
