Are you experiencing frequent network connection issues? These can often manifest in your Sense monitor going offline or frequent data dropouts in the Power Meter. If so, you can run a Network Connection Test right from the app. This measures how well your Sense monitor is connecting to the Sense servers. It is not a measurement of the overall connection quality between your home and your Internet Service Provider.
To run the Network Connection Test:
- Bring your mobile phone near your electrical panel. The test requires a Bluetooth connection with your Sense monitor.
- Navigate to Settings > My Home > Sense Monitor.
- Scroll down to the Network Connection card and tap 'Network Test'.
- If your test fails, the Sense app will let you know why and provide some troubleshooting tips.
