If you've received this error during your network connection test:
This error indicates that there are problems communicating with your local network. A network should automatically assign an IP address to a monitor once the monitor joins the network. This failure indicates that no such address was assigned. This can be caused by:
- Inadequate signal strength: Sometimes a monitor can associate with a network but the connection is too poor to receive configuration information. Follow the suggestions in this article to improve your Wi-Fi connection.
- Check your router's configuration to make sure that it is set to issue IP addresses via DHCP, and that it has sufficient addresses available to provide one to Sense.
If the above is set up, please reboot your router and re-attempt the network test.
